Each summer we used to spend at least one month vacation-sometimes two if we were very lucky,the 2nd under the supervision of our grandmother- at the beach in Belgium.Only an hour away driving from home,yet it seemed like it would take for ever to reach the magical destination.The car would typically be packed to its beyond maximum capacity and the three of us would inevitably fight not to sit in the middle of the back seat of our dad's beloved "Citroen"!
